About Sophia

Sophia Laughlin was born and raised in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. She holds an MFA in Popular Fiction Writing and Publishing from Emerson College, and won Emerson’s prestigious ‘23-’24 Popular Fiction Thesis Award for her novel The Gates of Horn. Her horror flash fiction, “The Salesman,” appears in Page Turner Magazine. When she’s not funneling her creative energy into crafting epic fantasy worlds and darkly engrossing gothic tales, she’s giving her dog TED Talks on Ancient Rome and planning her D&D group’s next grand adventure.
